Former Delhi Chief Minister and AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday wrote to Union Home Minister Amit Shah about the law and order situation in the national capitalhawkplay, seeking time to discuss the same.

This letter comes amid the multiple bomb threats received by various schools in the national capital in the last few days.

He is writing 300 plus threats to schools, 100 plus to hospitals, airports and malls.

And a significant 350 percent increase in drug-related crimes, all of which have led to growing security concerns among residents.

In the letter shared by Kejriwal on his official X handle, the AAP leader talks about 300 bomb threats to schools and hospitals in the last six months.

Kejriwal also highlighted the increased incidents of crime against women, murder, extortion cases, thefts and chain snatching.

Kejriwal writes he is worried about the safety of people in Delhi.

The letter written in Hindi says that among the 19 metro cities of India, “Delhi is the top when it comes to crime against women.

Earlier in the match, a raucous crowd gave the Chinese players full support as they faced a formidable Pakistan. The game started slow with both teams struggling to find space in each other's defence. However, China kept control of the ball and made more attacks than Pakistan.

Addressing a rally earlier this week, Kejriwal had lashed out at the BJP-led Centre over "worrisome" law and order in the national capital and asserted the situation would have been different if his party government exercised control over Delhi Police.
